With most brain growth occurring before age 3, early childhood is an important time for development. Family Connection’s programs develop early social and emotional resilience, stimulate brain growth through play and social interaction, and provide caregivers with the skills needed to help their children succeed.

In the Family Connections model, teachers model activities for parents, who attend every class and participate. Parents receive “on the job” training–skills that help them be the best role model, teacher, and caregiver they can be at home AND in the classroom. As the school year progresses, parents become leaders in the classroom and teach and prepare their own games and activities.
